Sign-in
Email + password
Every person has their own login, managed by Supabase Auth. Passwords are stored with bcrypt; nobody, including admins, can see them.
Invite only
There is no public sign-up. Admins create each login and hand over a temporary password; the person chooses their own at first sign-in.
Forgotten passwords
Admins issue a new temporary password from Members. The hub never emails members, so corporate spam filters are not an issue.
Who can see and do what
Admin
Everything, including the admin panel and editing any member’s answers.
Staff / observers
See the map and topics. Cannot edit answers or send requests.
Members
See the map, update their own answers, request introductions. Cannot see other members’ emails.
Protection
Enforced by the database
Row-level security in Supabase decides what each login can read or change, so the rules hold even outside this page.
Automatic sign-out
Signed out after a period of inactivity.
